Interested in attending the NC Community Birth Summit?
This workshop is intended to be a beginning. The creation of a systems map that will lead us into a deeper level of understanding of the multi-faceted issues facing North Carolina’s perinatal healthcare system. More importantly, we will create action steps to address these issues and make changes that will have long lasting and positive effects for NC childbearing families.
The ideal attendees for the Summit include members of the OB/GYN and physician communities, State health leaders, consumers, doulas, community birth midwives and center administrators, hospital leadership, state midwifery and medical organization leadership, and all major stakeholders who have a voice to lend to these important conversations. We would like to have representatives from each of these groups from most major regions of North Carolina.
By expressing your interest in participating in the NC Community Birth Summit, you are agreeing to carry on the work and goals of the workshop beyond this one weekend.
